Gibson’s supports readers in many ways!
We have an in-store book club which we're hosting online during COVID. We also gather and coordinate information for dozens of local book clubs. We craft events of special interest to book clubs—for instance, publishers’ nights, in which major publishers send reps (via Zoom during the pandemic) to share their best new picks for book clubs.
If you’re in a club, please let us know what you’re reading and how to contact you! You can print and fill out this form (.pdf or .docx) to register your book club with us and to receive notice of exciting events you might like.
Now, here’s what we’re doing in the bookstore:
Our book club is open to all. We've chosen an eclectic, ambitious list of books for the coming year: join us for every meeting, or deal yourself in as the spirit moves you.
All meetings unless otherwise noted are on the first Monday of the month, and begin at 5:30. Zoom links for registration will be shared prior to the online meeting.
